Retreats

What’s included in the retreat price?
Accommodation, three meals a day (including dietary needs), all daily practices, planned excursions, airport transfers and ground support throughout the retreat. Massage and bodywork are bookable separately at the property.
What is the cancellation policy?
A 30% deposit holds your place and is non-refundable. Cancellations 60+ days out receive a full refund of the balance; 30–60 days, 50%; under 30 days, balance is non-refundable but can be transferred to a future retreat within twelve months.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes — most retreats can be paid in two or three instalments. Mention it when you apply and we’ll set up a simple schedule.
Is airport transportation arranged?
For retreats, transfers from Puerto Plata (POP), Santiago (STI) and Las Américas (SDQ) are included for arrivals during the official welcome window. Transfers outside that window can be booked individually for a small fee.

Experience Stays

What is the minimum stay?
Three nights for the cabins, two for La Estrella. We occasionally make exceptions for short shoulder-season visits — just ask.
Are meals included?
Breakfast is included with every stay. Lunch and dinner can be added on a per-day basis, or taken in the village — we’re happy to advise.
Is there Wi-Fi?
Yes, in the cabins and the main pavilion. We intentionally leave certain corners of the property — including La Estrella — offline.
Can day visitors come?
Day visits are limited to friends of in-residence guests and only by prior arrangement. We protect the rhythm of the property closely.

Hosting

What size groups can OYA host?
Intimate gatherings of up to nine guests, across single, double and triple occupancy. The yoga shalas comfortably hold the full group.
What does pricing include?
Whole-property hire covers accommodation, all meals, dedicated kitchen and housekeeping staff, ground transport and the venue itself. Add-ons (sound healing, excursions, transfers outside the window) are quoted separately.
Can we bring our own facilitators and chef?
Absolutely. We can also pair you with our in-house kitchen and wellness team. Most groups blend the two.

Practical

How do I get to OYA?
The closest airports are STI (Santiago, about 45 min) and POP (Puerto Plata, about 1 hr). SDQ in Santo Domingo is also possible (about 2 hr). We arrange every transfer.
What should I pack?
Layered linen, swimwear, walking shoes, a light rain layer, sun protection and the kind of book you’ve been meaning to read for two years. We provide mats, towels and a thoughtful welcome kit.
Is OYA family-friendly?
Casa Ceiba welcomes families with children over six. Retreats and La Estrella are adult-only for the duration of the stay.
